What makes a print wall-worthy

Paper weight, colour accuracy, framing advice. A short guide to buying art prints you will actually hang.
Not all prints are equal
Print quality is one of those things that is invisible until it is not. A print on 120gsm paper yellows. Colours shift. The piece you loved on screen looks flat on your wall.
Here is what we look for when we grade a print for the Gr4frika catalogue.
Paper weight
300gsm archival matte is the baseline. Below that, prints are lighter in feel and more prone to warping in humidity. For large formats (A1 and above), we use cotton rag paper, which is dimensionally stable and carries colour differently from wood pulp stock.
Colour accuracy
RGB screens display a wider gamut than print can reproduce. The question is not whether colour shifts between screen and print, it is whether the shift is managed. We review proofs before any new artist's work goes live.
Framing advice
Standard ISO A-sizes (A1, A2, A3) fit frames sold by IKEA, H&M Home, and most European frame shops without custom cutting. This is a practical choice for our buyers. If you are framing, use UV-protective glass to slow fading from ambient light.
